Juice Feast, Day 10

...Ah. I brought an extra quart of juice to school with me to day and it made a huge difference in how I felt at the end of the day. I'm there for roughly 7 hours (if I leave immediately after school), and I'd been bringing a quart for breakfast (which I'll drink between 8:00 and 8:40) and a quart for lunch. Then, by the time 3:00 rolls around, I'm crabby, exhausted, dehydrated, and my body is crying out for vitamins and minerals. Not a very pretty picture. Today I had a quart for breakfast, a quart for lunch, and a quart during my afternoon planning period, and I felt amazing.

On the other hand, I out on missed the water w/ MSM this morning (I woke up way too late to be drinking an extra quart of water before school, haha), and really felt the difference in the morning.

Today's Juice Fest (yes, fest!):
-- 1 qt apple/red chard (4 gala apples, 1 bunch red chard)
-- 2 qts pineapple/apple/celery (1 head celery, 1 pineapple, 4 apples)
-- 1 qt apple/spinach (1 5oz bag spinach, 8 small golden delicious apples, 1tsp hemp seed oil)
-- 750 mL apple/blueberry (7 small golden delicious apples, 1 cup blueberries)
-- 2 qts water
-- 500 mL apple/ginger (5 gala apples, ginger)

Thanks for the comment you left on my post - I'm still new to raw foods, only three months and sometimes I'm blown away by my own healing :-)
I no longer believe in the word incurable though......

I began drinking more juices too and missed my MSM this morning, could tell the difference for sure!

I love your writing Alison, it rolls and flows so naturally, and its enveloped in a taste of lightness and fun.....its a joy to read your blog everyday.....
