2 weeks!!

Today's Intake:
-- 2 qts water w/ lemon & MSM
-- 1 qt apple/cuke/chard (1 cucumber, 1/2 bunch chard, 6 apples)
-- water of 2 young thai coconuts
-- 3 cups crappy tea w/un-raw honey
-- 1 qt red delicious apples (~5 apples)

Another day of embarassingly low intake, haha. The thing I miss about weekdays is my routine...I usually get about 5 quarts of juices in, lots of water, and things start super early.

So...today was interesting. I still felt a lot of detox symptoms (really ache-y scratchy throat), and didn't drink nearly enough water to flush out whatever was bothering me. That was my own fault, I was in Manhattan spending time with my sister and some good friends. It was certainly worth it, though.

I sipped on a few cups of Lipton tea (lol, ew) while out at a cafe with some friends who don't even understand/know that I'm raw vegan, and would be flat out appalled if they knew that I was juice feasting, lol. They're from the middle east and eat a very meat centered, cooked carbohydrate based diet and think I'm crazy and deprived for being a vegetarian. :)

So, I lied to my friends and told them I had a huge lunch with my sister before meeting them...it was so much easier than spending the next 3 hours explaining that I hadn't eaten solid food in 2 weeks. The entire time we were out they kept looking at me wistfully as I sipped my tea, and continued to offer me french fries, fish cakes, and all the other junk they were eating. :)

I'm so super excited for the Gabriel Cousin's lecture on Tuesday! My goals for this week are:

+ go running 4 days (2 miles each day -- to and from my school)
+ consume 1 bunch celery & three bunches of greens each day
+ drink 2 quarts of water w/ lemon & MSM each day

[12:59 AM]

After taking my shower and doing my dry skin brushing last night (Day 13), I looked in the mirror and I couldn't believe it...I was glowing!! I felt so ecstatically happy, and could really, really see the difference in my face. Its so much thinner, and the entire constitution of my face & body are rapidly changing for the better. I really wanted to take a picture but realized I was out of AA batteries (bleh). I'm going to buy some for sure and post some pictures for Day 15 (tomorrow), because the transformation is undeniable at this point.

That is so funny about hanging with your meat eating friends and not telling them you haven't in two weeks. Not many people would understand! But you know myself and a few other folks do! ;-) Right on for getting to the 2 week milestone!

I did the same thing the last time I was juice feasting, lied to people, told them I had some stomach problems and couldn't eat......and sipped on my herbal tea. quite happily.......saves a lot of unnecessary justifying and explaining, methinks.....

Isn't it amazing how our faces and bodies are changing! I keep looking in the mirror and noticing little teeny weeny differences almost everyday - and somehow it just feels different being in my body now.....

Hey, look forward to your pictures.......
Have a great day :-)

Love,
