A slightly more centered Day 18...haha

So, I was feeling much better today. Actually, so much better, that I realized how truly drained and awful the days prior really had been! Exhaustion! Fatigue! No energy! The list goes on. I was dragging myself around the school like I weighed a million pounds.

Anyway, today was totally a different scenario. I wasn't...bouncing around, by far, but still had a fairly decent amount of energy. My throat is feeling MUCH better, due to more sleep + not screaming at children. I've pretty much given up on it, screaming is way too stressful and terrible for my health, and really counter productive anyway.

Also, the juices I drank today had more greens in them and weren't a sweet as usual...I think this had more of a balancing effect...I didn't feel a "sugar crash" at all like I usually do mid-afternoon at school.

Thanks so much to Jack & Jill, and Doug your kind words. :)

I actually felt 2398234 better (emotionally, at least) right after writing last night's post..but decided to leave it up anyway. The ups and downs are certainly...interesting, and looking back on yesterday's misery is pretty amusing. Good times.

Today's Juices...
-- 1.5 qts apple/celery/cucumber (4 apples, 1 bunch celery, 1 cucumber)
-- 1 tablespoon hemp oil
-- 1.5 qts apple/kale/cucumber (2 heads kale, 6 apples, 1 cuke)
-- 2 qts blueberry/collard/cucumber/apple (2 giant collard bunches, 4 cups blueberries, 4 apples, 1 cucumber)
-- 2 cups peppermint tea w/ honey

I actually really liked the apple/kale/cuke blend from this morning...since there was a lower apple-to-kale ratio than usual, the juice tasted much fresher and lighter...you could really taste the kale! Its hard to describe. However, I'm not so pleased with the blueberry/collard concoction that I'm currently slurping on. I didn't add enough apples to the mix since I ran out...and the blueberries just don't do enough to mask the collard-y flavor. Its not awful tasting, but the blueberries and collards just don't complement each other well. I don't care that much, I'm just excited to be getting 4 bunches of greens in (5 if you count celery) in one day! I'm going to shoot for 4 again tomorrow...I'm feeling pretty good.
